An absolutely fascinating piece. Originally used for shipping Gyro's this vintage crate featured the 'Handle Like Eggs' logo (which incidentally is the story behind our name!) which has been faithfully reproduced on the lid. The crate was in pretty poor, almost unusable condition when we picked it up, but it's now been up-cycled into a useful storage crate which maintains many original markings and the original 'gnarly' charm. Inside we've carried the yellow detailing through so that it really pops when you lift the now hinged lid. The original restored rope handles add a pleasing aesthetic too. A perfect hobby/tool/record storage box (will hold up to 80 x 12" vinyl albums - albums not included!).
